Thank you for choosing EFFECTUS, the next generation Performance Based Tracking Platform.

In this guide you will find information on how to set up your Affiliate Network and use the platform properly.

Initial Set Up

Once your platform is set up, you will receive the following details:

Login to your platform as administrator. Go to "Tools" - "Settings" page. Check and correct if necessary:

  • Company or Network Name
  • Support Email - your company Email for customers support. The email address is listed within the platform and in the emails that are sent to your customers.
  • Email From - Email address that all emails will be sent from.
  • Upload your company logo and Favicon (icon shown on your browser tabs).
  • Your company/network homepage URL
  • Links for Privacy Policy and Terms. IMPORTANT: If the links are not empty, Affiliates/Advertisers will be forced to agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms during their Sign Up. The links are also listed at the bottom of your login page (http://demo.effectus-software.com)
  • If you created your own Sign Up pages (using an API), you can change the Affiliate/Advertiser Sign Up URL. It will update the URLs at the bottom of your platform login page.

Platform Customization

Colors and logo

EFFECTUS supports white labeling. You have the ability to customize the platform interface with your company colors and logo.

Under Administrator, go to "Tools" - "Settings"

  • Upload your logo (preferably on a white background)
  • Change main platform colors at the "Colors Scheme" section

IMPORTANT: If you don't see the changes after saving them, refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 at IE). If you still don't see the changes, clear the browser cache or reload the browser.

Widgets

You can add custom information blocks on the left sidebar of your platform. More details can be found here: Widgets

 

Custom domain

Platform domain

If you want the platform to be available on your own domain, for example: platform.yourcompany.com instead of yourcompany.oneffect.us follow these instructions: Custom Domain Set Up

Custom domain for secured pixel

If you want your platform's SSL pixel to use your own domain, for example: https://platform.yourcompany.com/pixel/ instead of https://yourcompany.oneffect.us/pixel follow these instructions: Secured pixel with Custom Domain

Email Templates

The platform includes basic Email templates. You have the ability to edit the default templates.

Under admin go to "Tools" - "Email" - "Email Templates"

The main template is called "HTML Template" (at the very top). You can make changes on your own but, be sure the placeholder [TEXT_HERE] is in there. This is where text from a particular template will be inserted.
