EFFECTUS provides secured pixel tracking with default domain: USERNAME.oneffect.us for all users. However, it is possible to have secured pixel available using your Custom Domain.

IMPORTANT:

• SSL for custom domain available for EFFECTUS "Standard" plan license holders ONLY.
• Certificate should be purchased by EFFECTUS license holder.
• Certificate should be for exact domain/subdomain where EFFECTUS platform located. For example: login.domain.com
  Some certificates effect all subdomains of the root domain. If you purchase this type of certificate for your root domain and your system is located on the subdomain, please make sure the certificate will effect the subdomain.

Steps for SSL purchase and configuration

1. Submit a ticket to our Support system with the subject "SSL for custom domain". Our staff will assist you with the set up.
2. After the support ticket is added, you will be provided with a CSR code for your domain. This code is required for the SSL purchase and configuration on the certificate provider's site.
3. The SSL provider will send you a certificate code. It needs to be posted/attached to the support ticket for the installation on the Effectus server.
4. Te certificate will be installed and you will be able to use secured (https) pixel for your custom domain within 24 hours.

Note:

• The type of certificate is up to the user. For secure tracking, it is sufficient to have a basic certificate.
